REGENT MARTIN SHIVELY APPOINTED LIAISON TO NEW STATE EFFORT

Northeastern District to Be Represented by North Canton Chapter Leader

The Jacob Gaskins Chapter, NSDAR, Regent Stephanie Martin Shively has been appointed as the liaison for the Northeastern District.

North Canton, OH — The NSDAR has launched a national effort dedicated to identifying and honoring often-overlooked patriots of the American Revolution, including women, African Americans, Native Americans, and other underrepresented individuals.

As part of this initiative, Jacob Gaskins Chapter, NSDAR, Regent Stephanie Martin Shively has been appointed as a liaison for Ohio’s effort, representing the Northeastern District. In this capacity, she will help lead efforts to identify and document the contributions of “forgotten patriots” who played vital roles in the nation’s fight for independence.

The initiative is focused on uncovering and sharing the stories of underrepresented patriots whose service has long gone unrecognized. By highlighting these contributions, NSDAR aims to ensure that all those who helped shape the nation’s founding are remembered and celebrated for their part in securing America’s independence.

Individuals interested in learning more about their genealogy or membership in the NSDAR should contact the chapter.
